Bill Splitter – Tip & Tax works 100% offline. The App does not collect, store, transmit, share, or sell any personal information.

2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

The App does not collect:

Personal details: Name, email address, phone number, or physical address
Device data: Location, device identifiers, or advertising IDs
Media & Files: Contacts, photos, documents, microphone, or camera access
Usage data: Analytics or crash reports

Note: The App requires no login, user account, or registration.

3. INFORMATION YOU ENTER

The bill amount, tax percentage, tip percentage, extra charges, number of people, and individual names you type are used solely to calculate and display results on your device.

This data stays strictly on your local device while the App is open.
It is never saved in a history log or transmitted to any external server.

4. PERMISSIONS

The App does not request any sensitive or special Android permissions and operates completely without internet access.

5. SHARING FEATURES (User-Initiated Only)

The App includes a "Share Bill" button on the Bill Summary screen.

When clicked, it opens your device's native share menu with the bill details formatted as plain text. You choose which app receives this text. Once shared, that external app's privacy policy applies. We never receive or store this data.

6. THEME SETTING

You can toggle between Dark and Light themes in the Settings. This preference is applied locally during your session and is not stored externally.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, ADS & ANALYTICS

No Ads: The App contains zero advertising.
No Tracking: No third-party tracking or analytics tools are integrated.
Framework: Built using standard Flutter libraries and open-source packages that operate 100% locally on your device.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. Because the App collects no data whatsoever, no children's data is ever gathered or stored.

9. DATA SECURITY & RETENTION

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no user data held by us to secure, retain, or delete. Uninstalling the App instantly clears all temporary local session data.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If any features are updated in a way that impacts privacy, this policy will be revised along with an updated "Last updated" date above.
