Bilal Komati received an Electrical Engineer degree from Lebanese University, Lebanon, in 2011, M.S. degree in automatic control and signal processing from Supélec, Paris, France in 2011 and the Ph.D. degree in automatic control and microrobotics from the University of Franche-Comté, Besançon, France in 2014. He is the winner of the 2014's best Ph.D. in robotics in France rewarded by the robotics research group of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). In 2015, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the FEMTO-ST institute with the AS2M Department of Automatic Control and Micro-Mechatronic Systems. In 2016, he has been a research project manager at Percipio Robotics, Besançon, France for two years, where his research interests included design, modeling, and control of microrobotics, micromechatronic systems for micromanipulation and microassembly. Then, he had some experience in industry in France and Lebanon where he worked with automation and mechatronics. Since 2025, he has been a researcher at the Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS-L) within the National Center for Remote Sensing.
