Bike Safe is a protective bike helmet for anyone who bikes around cars which includes electronic safety signaling capabilities. Just like a car signals other drivers with turn signals, Bike Safe alerts others on the road of a bikers presence and their turns. People are no longer left guessing what a biker is doing, and can now be safer around bikers, and bikers can bike more confidently knowing that they are seen and safe.
All you need to do is turn on Bike Safe and put the helmet on your head and begin biking. Tap the corresponding touch pad on the top of the helmet when you intend to turn right or left, similar to as in a car, and the helmet system does all of the rest.
With just a tap on the helmet, Bike Safe turns on the corresponding turn signal. This alerts other road users without relying on the archaic, unclear arm signals which were previously the only way to communicate to others on the road.
LED lights mounted on the left and right side of the front of the helmet keep the user in the know and make sure they know when a signal is activated on the back of their helmet. The front LED on the same side as the front of the helmet is activated with the corresponding turn signal, and turns off with it, so bikers know if a signal is activated correctly, or left on after a turn is complete.
