BIG W is committed to partnering with you to ensure a smooth transition. Our next communication to you regarding upcoming order placement will be in March 2020. Regular updates will be provided during the transition to the new DC locations. For further information, please speak with your BIG W contact.

What does this mean for me as a Supplier (Local)?
It will be business as usual, further information will be provided in upcoming communications.
The transition period will begin in March 2021 from our Monarto DC to Hoppers Crossing (VIC) and Kewdale (WA).
Suppliers delivering to our Monarto DC will be required to deliver to our Linfox 3PL locations in Hoppers Crossing (VIC) and Kewdale (WA).
We will engage with you over the coming months to provide further information about the DC and its requirements.

There will be a transition period from our Monarto DC to Hoppers Crossing (VIC) and Kewdale (WA).
Delivery port changes will increase from three (Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide) to four (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Fremantle)
We will no longer deliver to Port Adelaide.
From April onwards, the two new DC locations will appear on new Purchases Orders.
We will engage with you over the coming months to provide further information about the changes.

The DC will be in operation from March 2021 and there will be a transition phasing. We will continue to update you closer to the transition period on timing.
Why are we moving sites in WA?
Why are we moving sites in WA?
Kewdale is not large enough to meet future volumes and our digital ambitions. Hazelmere is a larger site and we believe is better suited to our future business requirements. We have completed a thorough assessment and forecasted volumes can be met in the Hazelmere site.
