Contact Information: Your phone number, used exclusively for account verification and real-time booking updates.
Owner-Specific Verification (For Salon Owners Only): We collect Aadhaar numbers to verify the legitimacy of salon partners. This sensitive data is protected using high-level End-to-End Encryption.
2. Payment & Platform Fee Policy
Platform Fee: A nominal booking fee of ₹5 (Five Rupees) is charged via the app to secure your seat. This transaction is processed securely through Razorpay.
Offline Balance: The remaining service amount must be paid directly to the salon via cash or other offline methods after your service is completed.
3. Location Intelligence
We utilize your location data to enhance your experience by:
Identifying and displaying the nearest premium salons and shops.
Enabling background discovery to find top-rated partners as you move.
Our Promise: Your location data is used solely for service delivery. We never sell your location information to third-party advertising companies.
4. Children’s Privacy & Safety
Big Saloon is designed for a general audience and is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately. We will purge such data from our servers instantly.
5. Security & OTP Verification Protocol
To ensure the integrity of every booking, the app generates a unique 4-digit OTP.
Verification: Customers must provide this OTP to the salon staff only after the service is successfully completed. This ensures that services are fulfilled correctly and securely.
6. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
We retain your data only as long as your account remains active to provide you with a personalized experience.
Your Control: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data through the app settings or via email. Once requested, all data (excluding legally required records) will be permanently removed.
