I am a PhD student in the Production Economics group at the University of Bonn. My research focuses on crop protection, with a particular interest in pesticide policy. My dissertation is about exploring the challenges of designing impact and outcome-based pesticide policies and providing practical recommendations for their implementation. By analyzing existing policies, developing new conceptual frameworks, and conducting ex-ante analyses to assess potential impacts and trade-offs, I aim to contribute to the advancement of pesticide policy design and implementation.
My background in agricultural economics, international and development economics, and economic theory has shaped my research interests toward research topics related to sustainable agricultural production systems, rural development, development economics, international trade, and market competitiveness.Â
