University of Milan's is the largest philosophy department in Italy and hosts a thriving and diverse community of students and scholars. Conveniently located at the very heart of downtown Milan, the department is housed within the historical building "Ca' Granda". The former hospital was built in the 15th century and provides a charming setting to the conference.

You can easily reach the venue by public transport:
You can easily reach the venue by public transport:
From Malpensa Airport
Take a Malpensa Express train headed either to Milan Central station or to Cadorna FN station. Both fares take around 50 minutes.
From Linate Airport
Take the M4 underground line (direction San Cristoforo) and get off at Sforza Policlinico stop.
From Milan Central station
Take the M3 underground line (direction San Donato) and get off at the Missori Università degli Studi stop.
From Cadorna FN
Take the M1 underground line (direction Sesto 1° Maggio) and get off at the Duomo stop. Then, you can either catch the M3 underground line (direction San Donato) and get off one stop later (Missori) or you can enjoy a five minutes walk through Piazza Duomo to the venue.

Sala Lauree (10 March)
Located on the ground floor, marked by the orange box.
Loggiato Via della Signora (10 March)
Head to the first floor using the staircases marked by the blue box.
Sala Malliani (11-12 March)
Proceed to the staircase marked by the green box and climb all the way to the top floor.
University Bar and Canteen
Head to the lower ground floor using either of the staircases marked by the yellow boxes.
Department of Philosophy
Reach the Cortile della Ghiacciaia. Through the staircase marked by the pink box you can:
enter the Library, located on the ground and lower ground floor.
reach the two PhD students' rooms, up the stairs all the way to the top floor (including the last flight, in front of the elevator doors). Once there, head to the end of the corridor on the right-hand side.
All these rooms and facilities are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of part of the Library and the PhD students' rooms.
