DIFFERENCES BETWEN REGULAR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND DEEP PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE ON SPLIT AIR CONDITIONERS.
In the regular maintenance we don't unmount or un install the unit, we just make sure is working well first, then we proceed to expose the areas that need to be cleaned in the evaporator and the condenser units.
We can use a gentile pressure washer to clean the dust out of the copper or aluminum pipe coils, turbine, fan motor and all the pieces.
The electronic board can be cleaned with a brush, we check pressures and capacitors.

The deep maintenance is determined to do depending on different reason:
1.- the costumer is moving and the unit need to be un installed and placed in the new location, so we take advantage and clean it
2.- sometimes pests such as ants, wasps, or rodents make their nests inside the unit, or they die due to electrocution leaving bad odors in the house, so the unit needs to be un installed to get thoroughly cleaned.
3.- another reason is simply because the costumer knows and the technician determines also that it really needs to be unmounted cause there are a lot of dust and debris accumulated between the wall and the back of the evaporator and the rest of the unit due to a lack of maintenance in a very long period of time.
If we as technicians determine that the unit needs gas, or a capacitor change, is up to the costumer to decide if we add that material, which is gonna be with extra cost
If the AC has a failure that needs to be repaired this one also need to be diagnosed and will have an extra cost out of the regular maintenance price
