Collegiate Nationals

Our Hawkeye Boxing team has a long history of wins at collegiate nationals. In 2023 all THREE of our fighters became All-Americans brought home medals after only 1-2 years of training with George.

BJJ White Belt Warriors

White Belt Warriors is the semesterly tournament hosted by Arroyo Grappling Academy that brings in jiu-jitsu gyms from across Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas. Last year, 13 of 24 available medals were won by AGA or UIBJJ members.

Fight Night @ the IMU

Fight Night @ the IMU is the Hawkeye Boxing fall collegiate showcase against the ISU, Illinois, and Wisconsin college boxing teams as well as other gyms from across the Midwest.

Jiu-Jitsu Professional Seminars

Coach Danny's breadth of training and competition experience allows us to bring in champion jiu-jitsu competitors and professional MMA fighters like Derrick Flaig, Jordan Pietzman, and Elias Cepeda to teach our members advanced techniques and details.

Iowa Golden Gloves

The Golden Gloves is an annual State boxing championship hosted in Iowa City. Last year we had SEVEN championship wins.
