BiG2023 - Brazilian Indtechs in Germany - is a program created to internationalize Brazilian tech companies that provide hightech solutions to manufacturing companies. 

These so-called indtechs were selected among dozens of applicants according to the these criteria: 

1. Product-Market-Fit already reached in Brazil having several paying customers 

2. Already supplying to multinational companies 

3. Having a Chief of Internationalization Officer assigned and able to generate new businesses in different countries

4. Having resources to invest in the Internationalization 

BiG was gestated from February to November of 2022 in both Germany and Brazil including a immersion into the German market from April to August.  Over this period, observations generated an hypothesis: "It seems that German manufacturing companies need help in its digital transformation journey. What if we bring mature Brazilian indtechs to help them out?"  

The hypothesis was aligned with observations from the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin which was the first supporter of the idea of testing it. Following it, two open innovation hubs, from Brazil and Germany, were willing to partner: FINDESLAB and NEXT MANNHEIM.
