Owners

The idea of opening an ice cream shop started long before construction. Ground was broken for Big Timbers in the fall of 2020. The property has morphed from the small dream of an ice cream shop to its current facilities which includes an ice cream & gift shop, motel with four rooms, and a one of a kind reconstructed log cabin built in 1902. 

Big Timbers is a family owned and operated business. Co-owners Julie & Marvin Sauer and Christine & Jake Sauer are long term residents to the area.
