This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use BigText. By using this app, you agree to the practices described below.

Text Content and Privacy

BigText is designed with privacy in mind. All text you write or save for display purposes remains on your device. The content of these texts is never collected, transmitted, stored, or shared by BigText or its developer. However, this does not apply to information you voluntarily submit via the "Share an Idea" feature, which is handled as described in the section below.

Analytics and App Usage

BigText uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics. These statistics help improve app stability, performance, and features. The collected data may include app interactions (such as button taps), general usage patterns, and device or app-related information. No text content is ever collected or analyzed.

Advertising

The free version of BigText uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect information such as device information, advertising ID, and IP address. This data may be used by Google to display personalized or non-personalized ads, in accordance with Google’s privacy policies.

Opting Out of Personalized Ads

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your ad settings in Google Ads Settings. If you opt out, non-personalized ads will be shown instead.

"Share an Idea" Feature

When you use the "Share an Idea" feature, the text content you submit is transmitted to and stored on our secure servers (via Google Firebase). To ensure the security of our services and prevent spam, we also collect certain technical metadata: your IP address, device model, OS version, app version, and locale. This data is used exclusively to analyze suggestions and improve BigText. No identity data is requested or collected.

Data Retention

BigText does not store personal account data. However, feedback submitted through "Share an Idea" and its associated technical metadata (like IP addresses for anti-abuse purposes) are stored on our Firebase infrastructure for as long as necessary to process your feedback and improve the application. Any data collected by third-party services such as Google Analytics or AdMob is retained and processed by Google in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Your Rights (EEA / EU Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access information about how your data is processed and to withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time. Requests related to data collected by Google services should be addressed directly to Google, as BigText does not control or store this data.
