Dr. Bidyut Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India. He has received several academic excellence awards, including a gold medal in his M.Sc. and a silver medal in his M.Tech. He has also been honoured with the prestigious INSPIRE fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Before joining the Haldia Institute of Technology, he worked as a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and as a lecturer at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. His research interests encompass ICT-based teaching and learning, natural language processing, computer vision, deep learning, and digital microfluidic biochips. Dr. Das has published in several reputable SCI-indexed journals and presented his research findings at prestigious international conferences. Beyond his research, he also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for numerous international journals.
