The BCA home base is Tam O'Shanters Farm on Bidston Hill, Wirral.

Fifty metres from the farm, where the woodland starts, is the pigfield, our dig site.

We are excavating a farm that stood in the field and have unearthed
some structures that are, as yet, unexplained.

Our latest find is a circular stone structure which we believe is a horse gin (aka horse engine).
