Hold shift key down while pressing another key to get caps and characters.
Circle key above shift key IS the caps lock key.
Email is a gmail account and you can log in by visiting www.gmail.com
For all settings and saved bookmarks to be available to use, log into chrome browser in the top right corner of your browser and choose sync
To bookmark pages visited regularly (Like your email) to your browser, click on the star at the end of web address bar. This will let allow site to your bookmarks bar and easily return to it with one click.
To access Canvas online https://liberty.instructure.com MUST be used. Don’t forget to Bookmark.
Ideas for bookmarks: gmail, google drive, powerschool, and the BI website for quick access. Bookmarks can be modified.
Restart your Chromebook If stuck in tablet mode and keyboard will not work.
Disregard if told to enter old password when you try to login. Just choose forgot old password at the bottom and then continue anyway on the next page and you should get right in.

If you are having trouble with the Canvas app, it could be because:
-you need to update your device (remember it has to be at least 50%)
-you need to delete your Canvas app, and let it download again
-you may need to reboot your device. (Hold down the power button)
To login to canvas go to liberty.instructure.com using your google chrome browser and login as normal. You can add this to your bookmark bar by clicking the star at the end of the web address bar and add to your bookmarks bar to easily click on it.

For Canvas, go online using google chrome and use the browser version. https://liberty.instructure.com/
Make sure you enter the link exactly as it appears to be taken to the correct site, just typing part of it may result in an error or going to the wrong login area.

The majority of errors with links/pages being blocked by the student filter are caused when a link shortener was used. Please do not use a URL shortener when generating links. Although these may be more convenient - they will frequently be blocked because they are often used for malicious intent.
