To be immersed into Moshe means to be immersed into the covenant as made with the nation collectively. This means to be brought up out of Egypt, according to the covenant made with Abraham and so with Israel corporately, but undefined as to who it would be who composed the "seed of Abraham", for not yet brought into the Land, according to the covenant made with Abraham.

Immersed Into The Cloud

• This means immersed into the Presence of Hashem. It is the promise of blessing promised through covenant to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is the promise of the rectification of the sin of Adam, of the reconciliation of the world through the redemption of Adam through justice and mercy. Reconciliation, through this immersion of Israel into the Divine Presence, is shown to be life as Hashem intended it to be, that He would be Adam's true "environment". "In him we live and move and have our being..." not only as a fact of reality but as a consciousness of soul in decided joy! It was this that sin and death made Adam lose conscious awareness of. Only redemption and regeneration can restore this conscious knowledge. But it is no private redemption or conversion.
