We are a team of research interns taking part in the humanitarian AI internship at Mila - Quebec AI Institute and our goal is to detect and correct gender bias in text with machine learning. We started this project during the AI for Social Good Lab and would like to extend our gratitude towards the creation of this program.

In order to train a machine learning model to recognize gender bias in text, a dataset of labeled sentences is needed. To our knowledge, no such dataset exists. Therefore, we are crowdsourcing the labeling of our data. Please feel free to retake the survey as many times as you would like; it takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. Thank you!
