Course Description

Probability and Statistics  (UMA013)  is a one semester, upper-level module that emphasizes the probability and statistics used to study different kind of data and real life problems, and to analyse their properties. Students also experiment with implementing algorithms in R/Matlab. Course credit are 4.0 (3 Lectures and 1 Lab per week). The students will become knowledgeable about various problems related to data analysis. The course will also develop an understanding of the use of probability and  analysis of various samples.
