Dietmar Hübner is Full Professor of Practical Philosophy at LU Hanover. His main research fields are general ethics, political philosophy (particularly theories of justice), and applied ethics (biomedical ethics and technological ethics). He is active in general research ethics, the interplay of epistemology and ethics of science, the intersection of norm-building in ethics and law, and applied issues such as chimera research, gene therapy and the introduction of autonomous vehicles.
