I am an Assistant Professor of Real Estate in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at The University of North Texas.

My research focuses on real estate, household finance,  and urban economics. My work has been published in academic journals such as Real Estate Economics, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Housing Economics, Urban Studies, Housing Studies, and Journal of Housing Research.

I hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration (major in Real Estate) from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park and a B.A. in Economics from Illinois Wesleyan University. I am also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
