New Logo:

The investigation of liquid transport at the nanoscale has shown unexpected behaviors due to liquidde/solid interactions. Whereas the case of insulating surfaces has been largely investigated, the case of conductive interfaces remains scarcely explored, despite the fact that experiments on model nanofluidic systems has undermined their potentiality for energy harvesting or filtration. However, these model systems are costly and subject to fouling. Here, we propose to use two other types of aqueous intrinsically nanometric soft liquid films: suspended soap films, and wetting films that adsorb spontaneously on a substrate. We will synthetize new surfactants, electronically conductive and which will stabilize the soap films, as well as monolayered Van der Waals materials to support wetting films.
