Bianca Gouthier

Position

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn.

From September 2024 to September 2025 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematical Institut of Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf in the group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Schröer.

I obtained my PhD at Université de Bordeaux in July 2024, under the supervision of Dajano Tossici. You can find here my PhD thesis.

Mathematical interests

Algebra and Algebraic Geometry and their applications to Coding Theory and Cryptography. 

My research at present is focused on the study of rational actions of algebraic group schemes in positive characteristics.
