As a final project for my Master in String Pedagogy at ISU, I've chosen five Brazilian pieces for strings, graded them and specified their pedagogical features to help string teachers in the US knowing them and deciding which would be a better fit for their students. The pieces are listed below and my research resulted in 2 different articles published in the Scroll Magazine and in the American String Teacher Magazines.
My article about these 4 pieces, called "Teaching Diversity: Four Brazilian Pieces for String Orchestra", was published on the Scroll Magazine from the Illinois American String Teachers Association (Pages 7-12)
My article about this piece, titled "Viajando Pelo Brasil I, Suite for Strings: A Fun way to Explore the Richness of Brazilian Culture and Music" can be read in the American String Teacher Magazine
