Welcome to Bhua Bua ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is handled securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
By accessing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
To provide and improve our maid verification and review services, we collect the following types of information:
Personal Information (Account Registration): When you register, we collect your Phone Number (via OTP authentication) and your Full Name.
Maid Profile Information: When you add a maid to the platform, you may submit their Name, Phone Number, National ID (NID) number (optional), Profile Photos, and a list of their skills.
User-Generated Content (UGC): We collect the reviews, ratings, comments, and area zip codes you submit.
Offense Reports & Proof: If you report a serious offense, we collect your textual description and any photographic evidence (proof images) you upload.
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
To create and maintain your user account.
To populate the crowdsourced database of maid profiles and reviews.
To verify the authenticity of users and prevent spam, fraud, or duplicate reviews.
To moderate reported offenses and investigate inappropriate User-Generated Content.
To improve the App's functionality and user experience.
Bhua Bua relies on community contributions. However, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.
Flagging System: Users can flag any review as inappropriate, fake, or abusive directly within the App.
Moderation: Our administration team reviews flagged content and offense reports. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any user account that violates our community guidelines or Terms of Service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share your information only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the App:
Google Firebase: We use Firebase Authentication (for phone login), Cloud Firestore (for database storage), and Firebase Storage (for image hosting). Your data is processed securely through Google's infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit.
You have complete control over your personal data.
In-App Deletion: You can delete your account at any time by navigating to the "My Account" screen and tapping "Delete Account & Data".
What Happens When You Delete: * Your personal user account (Name, Phone Number, UID) is permanently erased from our database and authentication servers.
All reviews and ratings you have written will be permanently deleted.
Note on Maid Profiles: To preserve the integrity of the platform for other users, maid profiles you have added will not be deleted but will be permanently anonymized (unlinked from your account).
Web Deletion Request: If you no longer have access to the App, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us directly at salmanhossain86@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 7 days.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including Google Firebase's built-in security rules and encryption) to help protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to remove that information immediately.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
