Tips for Study Events
1. Start with soinc. org. Click on your event and it will lead you to a page with lots of official information, hand outs, and resources. Soinc is the national Science Olympiad website so it is very reliable source and good place to begin.

2. As always, read the rules! The rules for each event are in our shared google folder. Remember to check what type and the amount of resources you are allowed to bring into competition.
3. Scioly Wiki is also a good place to start. It often has good summaries and overviews of topics. https://scioly.org/wiki/index.php/2021
4. Ask the other team (Maroon, Gold, Cougar), captains, coach, and science teachers at BHSN. Please keep your notes in our team shared google folder so members from the other teams can refer to them too!
5. Practice Tests are always a great way to test your knowledge.

*A general piece of advice, divide up the topics in the rules with your partner. Set a timeline and goal for yourselves as to when you want to certain milestones accomplished. Start by compiling notes from your research in a google doc 'binder' (which should be in our shared google folder). 2 weeks before competition, create your reference sheet by condensing your notes from your google doc 'binder'.
