Social Justice and Impact Pathways
Bobbi Taylor, a former foster youth, founded B Home Candle Company with intentions of creating products that allow people to feel like they are home wherever they go. Her experience in foster care, and the many placements that came with that as an older foster child, she struggled to find the feeling of home. After becoming an independent adult, and finding her power of self, she learned through her self healing journey that peace, comfort, and the feeling of home came with her favorite scented candles no matter where she was. She hopes to bring others the opportunity to enjoy their favorite scents that feel like home, no matter where they go.
Bobbi is a mother of four beautiful children, the CEO of two businesses, and an independent consultant for state agencies, federal agencies, national and local non-profits who strive to center the children, individuals, and families that they serve.
After aging out of foster care homeless, Bobbi wanted to be the change she needed while she was in care. For 8 years she spent her time working with organizations and governmental agencies nationwide to help create solutions that centered the people. With B Home Candle Co. she strives to run a business that centers linked prosperity, promote healing, shift the negative narrative of foster children and families, empower other social justice entreprenuers, and of course fill peoples homes with their favorite scents
