In addition to the daily and regular activities like worship of the Holy Trinity, Aratrikam, Ramanama Sankeertana on Ekaadasi days, birth day celebrations of Sri Sri Guru Maharaj, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, direct disciples and important Hindu, Christian festivals, the following special activities are being organised in the private centres.
Service Activities
Narayana Seva (Annadanam - 60 centres)
Free Homeo, Ayurvedic and Allopathic dispensaries (20 centres).
Financial aid to fire victims and those affected by natural calamities as and when needed.
Assisting the relief works taken up by Ramakrishna Math and Mission centres by providing volunteers.
Old age homes (3 centres).
Home for the mentally challenged (1 centre).
Blood donation camps, Blood group diagnostic camps, free medical camps, free eye camps, free dental camps, diabetes, BP camps, pulse polio camps, animal husbandry camps (20 centres)
Computer training classes (3 centres)
Drinking water and butter-milk distribution during summer (locally called Chalivendrams) (10 centres)
Providing old-age pension (2 centres)
Distribution of clothes (30 centres)
Assisting the Monks and devotees in having darsan of the Lord Venkateswara at Tirupati and Mother Kanaka Durga at Vijayawada (Tirupathi and Vijayawada centres).
Providing public-address systems at subsidy rates through the courtesy of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams to 35 centres.
Financial aid to Earth Quake relief work at Gujarat and Maharastra through Ramakrishna Mission.
Advising in the registration of samithis, accounting matters, planning activities, conducting meetings and other organisational matters.
Organising schools and educational institutes (10 centres).
Conducting Balavihar - children are being educated in Bhagavad Gita and other scriptures and the teachings of the Holy Trio and through multimedia presentations, yoga, computer training and vocational skills (10 centres).
Supply of mineral water at subsidized rates in remote villages by establishing and maintaining mineral water plants “Viveka Jala project” (2 centres -Donkada and W.Kothapalli)
Training in tailoring, embroidery and saree painting for women and vocational training for youth (10 centres)
Spiritual Activities
Arranging common trips of senior monks from outside the state to the neighbouring villages of the place of Annual convention on a coordinated
basis.
Spiritual Retreats, Naama ekaham (non-stop bhajan for 24 hours of the holy trio.)
Bhava Prachara in villages.
Advice in the construction of Temples.
Permanent book-stalls.
Library of Spiritual literature.
Youth seminars.
Statues of Swami Vivekananda are erected and maintained at 5 centres. The uniqueness of the statue at Prattipadu village is that the statue is very tall (54 feet) and stands atop a hillock.
Publication of books: In each Annual devotees’ convention, atleast one book is printed and published for the benefit of Telugu speaking devotees.

Distribution of free booklets pertaining to the Ramakrishna-Sarada-Vivekananda literature.
Scholarships to students.
Essay writing, elocution and quiz competitions to students on the literature of
Ramakrishna-Sarada-Vivekananda and distribution of Ramakrishna-
Vivekananda literature in the form of book prizes.
Arranging pilgrimages to Belur Math, Dakshineswar, Kamarpukur and Jayarambati.
Organizing puja, aarati, and bhajan training classes to the devotees (by Math centres).
Vivekananda Rath Yatra was organised on the occasion of the centennary of Swamiji’s triumphant return in India (during May, 1997) covering the major villages and towns of Andhra Pradesh from Chittoor district to Srikakulam district. Free literature was distributed and message of Swami Vivekananda was spread in the meetings.
On the holy occasion of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi’s 150th Birth Anniversary, a Rath yatra was organised from Prakasam to Srikakulam districts, from 19 September, 2004 to 21 October, 2004. Tremendous response was received in all the villages. Free literature was distributed and meetings were organised.
The most important impact of the Parishat activities is that some of the youth inspired by the message of the Holy Trinity have renounced their worldly life with a deep sense of devotion, jnana and vairagya and have joined the Ramakrishna Order and Sarada Math (6 members).
Bhava Prachara and the sale of literature using the vehicles of Ramakrishna Math and Mission in colleges, schools and universities in AP (Vehicles - Jnana Vaahini, Viveka Vaahini, Viveka Bheri, Vidyaa and Jagruthi).
Bhava Prachara Parishat is not complacent with the activities already performed.
A lot needs to be done for spreading the powerful and noble message of the Holy Trio to every village in Andhra Pradesh. With their
blessings, we wish to carry the torch to every nook and corner of Andhra Pradesh.
