Doctoral Research:
The problems of severe water scarcity, pollution in existing surface water bodies, and floods during rainy seasons in India have increased in the last decade, forcing us to rethink water management strategies. Since India is a tropical–monsoonal country, rain is sufficient to cater to its people's water needs if used judiciously.
My thesis focuses on developing an integrated water balance model for rainwater harvesting structure design and cost analysis. Once created, the model will facilitate the implementation of the rooftop and agricultural rainwater harvesting structures.
