Fall 2015 - Summer 2016 -- Project: Hybrid High Voltage ac/dc System Protection and Controls for Interfacing Off-shore Power Generations with On-shore Grid Phase- I, Funded by: Coastal Studies Institute of North Carolina.
Role: Designed and developed the coordination solution for a multi-terminal HVdc grid by designing hybrid dc breakers for the system.
Fall 2017 - Spring 2018 -- Hybrid High Voltage ac/dc System Protection and Controls for Interfacing Off-shore Power Generations with On-shore Grid Phase- II, Funded by: Coastal Studies Institute of North Carolina.
Role: Integration of the grid with the protection unit with simulation results in RTDS/Hypersim and designing of the breaker relay hardware prototype for testing.
