Prior to joining Qualcomm, I was working as a system engineer in 3GPP standards for Intel Corporation. I received PhD in electrical and computer engineering from University of Manitoba, Canada. During my PhD, I worked on medium access control protocols for Wireless Networks under the supervision of Prof. Ekram Hossain. I was also a graduate student researcher at the TRLabs Winnipeg, Canada.

I received my dual Master's degree from Asian Institute of Technology,             Thailand in Information Communication Technology and from Telecom         SudParis, France in Communication Networks. I have done my Schooling, Diploma and Bachelor from Shree Bhadrakali High School, Western Regional Campus and Pokhara University respectively in my home town Pokhara in Nepal. I was a research assistant at Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand prior to joining the University of Manitoba in Canada.
