Thanks for visiting my e-portfolio. I would like to share a little bit about myself.

I am Bharati, married and a mother of two handsome young boys aged 19 and 16. We form a close-knit family of five including our doggy “Browny”. The boys are both very dedicated and strong-willed who have a great vision for their future. The challenges of life have shaped us to be humble and compassionate.

I am a freshly promoted teaching Deputy Head Master (DHM) presently working at Aime Cesaire Government School and I am in charge of a Grade 6 class. Teaching here is quite challenging as the school forms part of “ZEP schools”. Our pupils come from very difficult socio-economic background with multiple types of emotional problems.

Having had quite a rich experience in teaching in various types of schools from star schools to ZEP schools, I believe that I have developed competencies and attitudes required to provide a sustainable education to the most vulnerable ones so that they come out as being “functional in the society “.I have embraced the mission of ZEP schools as my personal one and have already started walking the extra mile to accomplish it. I am also of the opinion that the new venture in which I have embarked, will help me further to strengthen my professional level so as to raise the performance of my kids by implementing the best educational practices as where there is a will there is a way.
