Academic and Professional Background
Dr. Bhanoth Sreenu joined as research associate in the Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune in 2019 on the project entitled "Design, Discovery and Application of Advanced Porous Materials (MOF&COF): Magnetic, Energy and Environment" funded by DST-SERB Govt. of India.
Obtained 2-year postdoctoral research experience in the Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune in 2019 on the project entitled "Design, Synthesis, Characterization and Investigation of catalytic activity of NP@MOF composites Materials" funded by DST-SERB Govt. of India.
Obtained Ph. D from Defence Institute of Advanced Technology under the supervision of Prof. P. K. Khanna in the Department of Chemistry in 2016 on the thesis entitled "Synthesis, Characterization and Application of Chalcogenide Semiconductor Nanocrystals".
Received International travel grant by DST-SERB and INSA-DAE/BRNS-CICS to attend IUPAC-2015, 45th World Chemistry Congress at Bexco, Busan, South Korea in 2015 as well as the Best Poster Presentation Award at Bharthi Vidyapeeth in 2013.
He worked as research trainee at University of Hyderabad (Incubation Center) in the Department of Chemistry on crystal engineering of pharmaceutical drugs with Prof. Ashwini Nangia from 2010-2011.
After post graduation he worked as lecturer in Sri Sai Triveni PG & UG College in the department of chemistry at Osmania University from 2008-2010.
Received his M. Sc in chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) in 2008. During his post graduate project he worked under the supervision of Prof. Shankar Prasad Rath on synthesis, structure and reactivity of meso-substituted vanadyl porphyrins.
Previously received B. Sc (CPM) from Osmania University (Sri Sai Degree College). During his B.Sc project he worked on 'Investigation of precipitation in oil, milk, water as well as detection preservatives of some marketed samples'.
