Privacy Policy – Bhagavad Gita App
Last Updated: 24-11-2025
Your privacy isn’t my problem — it’s your right. This app respects it and does not collect anything unnecessary. Below is exactly what happens inside the Bhagavad Gita app, without sugarcoating or misleading wording.
1. Information We Collect
We DO NOT collect:
No personal data
No name, email, phone number, or account details
No location
No contacts, files, photos, microphone, camera, or storage access
No background tracking
Automatic Data (from third-party services):
The app uses Google AdMob to show ads.
AdMob may automatically collect:
Advertising ID
Device info (model, OS version, etc.)
App usage data related to ads
IP address (for fraud prevention)
This data is handled by Google, not by me. I don’t see or store any of it.
For details, read Google’s policy:
Search: “Google AdMob Privacy & Terms”
2. How We Use Data
The app itself uses zero user data.
AdMob uses its collected data only for:
Showing ads
Personalizing ads (if allowed by Google settings)
Preventing ad fraud
Analytics for advertisers
Again, I don’t control or access this data.
3. Permissions
The app does NOT request any runtime permissions.
Everything works without:
Storage permission
Microphone permission
Camera permission
Location permission
The Text-to-Speech feature works using Android’s built-in TTS engine and needs no additional permission.
4. Audio (Text-to-Speech)
The audio feature reads Sanskrit, Transliteration, or Translation using the system TTS engine.
No audio is recorded
No voice data is collected
No audio leaves the device
5. Navigation & Verse Display
When you:
Switch between Sanskrit / Transliteration / Translation
Open verses
Swipe for next/previous verses
All actions happen locally on the device. No data is sent anywhere.
6. Children’s Privacy
The app is educational and can be used by all ages.
But since AdMob is used, it must not be targeted specifically at children under 13.
Google may deliver child-safe ads automatically depending on device settings.
7. Data Sharing
The app directly shares nothing with anyone.
The only third-party that receives any data is:
Google AdMob (for ads)
No SDK other than AdMob is integrated.
8. Data Retention
The app stores no personal data, so there is nothing to retain or delete.
AdMob handles its own data retention based on Google’s policies.
9. Security
Since the app does not collect or store user data, there is no user data that can be leaked or stolen.
10. Your Choices
You can control ad personalization in your Google settings:
Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID
Or use “Opt out of Ads Personalization”
AdMob follows these settings automatically.
11. Changes to This Policy
If the app starts collecting new data, requesting permissions, adding analytics, or changing how ads work, this privacy policy will be updated.
12. Contact
If you have questions, complaints, or need clarification:
