A blend of traditional Taekwondo as well as Olympic-style (WTF) and Hapkido.
Only if you want to stick with it. At first, just dress for full range of motion. If you are interested in purchasing a uniform, we recommend shopping around for a plain white dobok or karate gi.
1/2 hour warm up including jumping jacks, push-ups, sit-ups, and lunges. Basic kick practice followed by pad work and/or forms and sparring drills.
This is considered on a case by case basis. If you hold rank in another style, bring your current belt as well as a white belt and speak to an instructor before class.
It varies, but expect it to take at least 4 years of consistent and focused training.
We try to have 2 per semester. One around mid-terms and another around finals. We typically charge $10 (the cost of the new belt).
Our club is a satellite of Lee's Martial Arts located in Bloomington, Indiana.
