Olivia Safranek is in junior standing at BGSU on the pre-optometry track. She is pursuing a degree in chemistry with a biochemistry specialization and a minor in general science. Olivia is the pre-optometry student ambassador at BGSU. She also serves as president of both the Pre-Optometry Club and the American Medical Women’s Association. In addition, she holds a leadership position in her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, as Vice President of Chapter Relations and Standards. 

Outside of the classroom, Olivia immerses herself in the field of optometry by working as an optometric technician at Premier Vision Group in Bowling Green. Since high school, she has worked as a patient care coordinator at The Vision Development Team in her hometown of North Royalton. In her free time, she enjoys fitness classes, volleyball, and spending quality time with family.

Ava Vogel is a sophomore at BGSU on the pre-optometry track. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She is currently the treasurer of the Pre-Optometry Club at BGSU. 

Outside of the classroom, Ava has been involved in her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi as well as club tennis on campus and frequently volunteers with organizations.

Ava has gained shadowing hours starting in high school through her local optometrist as well as shadowing at Premier Vision Group in Bowling Green during her time at college. In her free time Ava enjoys playing pickleball or tennis, reading and spending time with family and friends.
