Education

Experience

Working on the developpment of ground-processing chains of off-nadir oceanography satellites (CFOSAT, SKIM, Harmony,...)

Investigating slow slip on faults using small events. Supervised by J. Hawthorne

Development of stochastic finite-fault models of 3 large earthquakes (e.g. Landers 1992, Pedernales 2016). Inversion of geodetic and seismologic data. Analysis of the co-seismic slip distributions and the associated tectonic processes. Supervised by Z. Duputel, L. Rivera, and C. Doubre

Re-location of microseismicity induced within hydrocarbon storage in salt caverns. Magnitude and focal mechanism estimation. Analysis of the temporal evolution of the seismicity. Hazard assessment.

Benchmark study of the FLAC3D code to reproduce various rupture styles on a fault. Modelling of rate-and-state friction law and analysis of the slip behaviors. Supervised by Jean-Philippe Avouac and Frédèric Cappa.

Teaching

Fieldwork

Annual summer campaign of GEOSCOPE broadband seismometer maintenance and installation of a new broadband instrument for test purposes.

GPS survey and installation of timelapse cameras overlooking the calving face of Breiðamerkurjökull.

Field assistant and 6 weeks internship in hydrology and glaciology in the Arctic Sweden: Establishment of the discharge rating curve of the Tarfala Valley catchment.
