Introduction
Welcome, to the first stop of becoming a Coruscant Guard Military Police Cadet. In this training I (Rank and Name) will be your cadre, you will call me by my rank and only my rank.
Section One
DEFCON Explanations:
DEFCON 5
Coruscant Guard are tasked with patrolling all areas of the base and ensuring that the Republic law is followed. In addition to this, we are responsible for responding to and investigating any AOS.
DEFCON 4
Once DEFCON 4 is called, CG will do a sweep of their sector to ensure that there are no hostiles or hidden explosives. This includes the entire detention center and the adjacent cave system. After this, find the senior most rank of CG to give you directions.
DEFCON 3
During DEFCON 3, Coruscant Guard will man specific battle stations to maximize efficiency when it comes to defending the sector. The Senior Most Ranking CG on will give out orders, make sure to follow them. The majority of CG that is on will defend the Atrium and Brig, unless told otherwise.
DEFCON 2
In the case that this DEFCON is called, all CG will focus on maintaining a hold on the detention center. The cave system team will hold the hallway directly outside the DC, and the briefing room team will take positions on either side of the DC entrance.
Defcon 1
There will be one of two evacuation routes during this DEFCON. We will either move to the hangar bay and board a ship to evacuate, or Coruscant Guard will take point and push through the cave system for the base to evacuate successfully.
Section Two
(Escalation of Force)
Verbal:
The first escalation of force is verbal. You will use your voice to investigate, command and enforce rules around the base. Ensure that you try giving multiple verbal warnings before escalating force.
Restraints & Stun:
You may use your restraints if a suspect is being uncooperative, showing signs of aggression or fleeing. They can be used to disarm and/or forcefully remove a suspect from an area. The stun gun can also be used if a suspect is fleeing. Do NOT set your stun to 30 or more seconds, the only reasons you are allowed to do this is if the person is too far for you to get to and your run speed is not upgraded set your stun to something that you know you can reach them in that time and cuff them and the other reason to do so is when a new player comes on and starts MRDM people then when that does come up head to RFA Site under CG SOP and if you are found doing something different from that you will lead you subject to removal and blacklisting. If you have detained a suspect and further questioning is needed, transport them to the DC before continuing.
Baton: IGNORE THIS PART
The baton is your final escalation of force. You will only use this tool under one of two circumstances. The first is if you have a suspect detained in the detention center that you have established is guilty. The second is if you directly witness RDM. We strongly encourage player interaction and role-play arrests, use this as a last resort.
