All players must have played in the latest season of your recreational league.
Players ages are as of January 1st, 2025.
No player shall be fostered on a travel team prior to January 1st, 2025.
Format:
Double elimination with 2 pool play games to determine seeding. Four (4) game minimum!!
(Weather permitting).
Age groups:
8U, 10U, 12U and 14U (recreation players only)

8U - $150/Team
10U - $300/Team
12U - $300/Team
14U - $300/Team

Required documents due at check in:
2.Team's insurance certificate
3. Copies of all players birth certificates
4. Signed coaches conduct form, 1 per team, signed by all coaches
Games are seventy five (75) minutes with time limit being unforced. Maximum six (6) innings in all divisions.
A new inning cannot start after seventy five (75) minutes, but an inning in progress will be completed.
Ties revert back to the last completed inning that was not tied.
Home team determined by coin toss.
In each division the inning will end when:
The defense gets 3 outs.
After the natural end of the play in which the 6th run is scored. (Up to nine (9) runs may be scored in an inning if five (5) runs have been scored, bases are loaded, and the batter is able to hit herself and all of the base runners in).
Seventy five (75) minute game time limit.
The current inning will end when time expires.
Ties determined by the International Tie breaker rule.
The home team determined by coin toss.
Three (3) complete innings or two and a half (2.5) innings (middle of the 3rd if the home team is ahead) shall constitute a regulation game if called for weather. If a game is called before reaching the defined regulation limits, it will be played from the exact point it was stopped.
The home team's scorebook is considered the official record of the game.
The plate umpire informs the home teams scorekeeper of the exact start time of the game.
The plate umpire will report the game results to the director.
The coaches are asked to advise all players to pick up trash inside and out of the dugouts after each game.
The tournament director reserves the right to change field location, game times, number of innings played, or time limits to assist in ending on the scheduled date before dark. (BGGSA has no lighted diamonds)
If the tournament is unable to be complete on the scheduled date, the following system will be used to determine the order of finish:
Win/loss record.
Runs against.
Runs scored.
All fielders are required to wear face masks. Girls not wearing a mask can only play outfield.
Players must avoid collision at home.
Hash marks will determine the runner's base advancement.
Play may be stopped by:
a) the pitcher's helper, with full control of the ball, calling time out in the pitcher's circle.
b) an infielder, with full control of the ball, may call time out while in the baseline in front of a runner. Runners behind the stopped runner who have made it to the hash marks when time out was called, as determined by the umpires, are allowed to advance to the next base if unoccupied. Runners ahead of the stopped runner may advance, at risk, all the way to home plate.
An overthrow at first or third base, where the ball goes out of bounds, will stop the play and runners may only advance one base if beyond the hash mark.

Teams may bat the entire roster but are not required to do so.
8U coaches will pitch at 35 feet using an 11 inch ball.
10U players will pitch at 35 feet using an 11 inch ball.
12U players will pitch at 40 feet using a 12 inch ball.
14U players will pitch at 43 feet using a 12 inch ball.
Twelve (12) runs after three (3) innings.
Ten (10) runs after four (4) innings.
Eight (8) runs after five (5) innings.
Will be enforced for 12U and 14U only.
Maximum of ten (10) players on the field.
No jewelry of any kind.
