Let's Play Ball!

The Butler-Grundy Classic Youth League (BGCYL) organizes 1st - 6th grade boys baseball and girls softball for the communities of: Allison, Aplington-Parkersburg, BCLUW, Denver, Dike-New Hartford, Eldora, Geneva, Grundy Center, Iowa Falls-Alden, Reinbeck, and Wellsburg. The league was formed to allow a more organized approach to scheduling games and providing good competition for our young people.

Competition with a focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, development and fun.

Parents, coaches, and volunteers need to encourage all players, regardless of ability, in a positive and calm manner.  Parents, coaches, and volunteers should always show encouragement and good sportsmanship towards one another. Derogatory remarks directed at players, coaches, parents, family members or umpires WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
