Heya! I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My primary fields of economics are public and labor economics. I broadly study how individuals and families respond to shocks in labor markets and institutions, particularly in ways that shape economic mobility. I am currently working on a project that examines how sentencing policy changes affect outcomes (sentence length, recividism, labor force reentry etc.) for justice involved individuals and the spill over effects on their families.
