BeyondMS was created from a single thought: Maple never truly stopped being fun, damages are never high enough, I am bored of my current class.
MapleStory have something special that many games struggle to recreate. The social interactions, grinding together, forming boss squads, hanging out and doing party quests.
However, one challenge with most MapleStory servers is that eventually, you reach the cap level. We often feel like there is nothing left to strive for, besides repeating the same content endlessly. You are just stuck at the maximum level, and you no longer need to grind.
That was one of the key reasons, BeyondMS was born.
Why Rebirth?
We introduce a rebirth system to extend the idea that made MapleStory enjoyable in the first place: Continuous character growth.
Instead of progression to max level, rebirth allows player to reset and begin a new cycle, stronger than before. Each rebirth becomes another milestone in your journey. Over time, players customize their builds, retain skills and push their character further beyond the limits.
The idea was never to turn the game into an instant-max-level experience. We still value the feeling of grinding, farming, bossing and slowly becoming stronger. It just gives player a long-term purpose after reaching what would normally, be the "end" of the game.
We strive to built around preserving the nostalgia, but yet introducing the mechanic of endless growth.
More Than Just Numbers
BeyondMS is about giving players a place where their journey never truly ends.Â
Some players enjoy chasing damage, collecting gears, bossing, or simply enjoy socializing and being part of a community.
The rebirth system allows all of these playstyles to coexist within a server.
We represent the idea of going beyond what classic originally offered, while still respecting the experience that made players fall in love with the game, in the first place.
