We are excited to join this event organized in collaboration between the Department of Odontostomatological and Maxillofacial Sciences (Sapienza University of Rome) and the National Research Council (CNR).

During the meeting we will explore the world of graphene and its applications in 3D printing, analyzing the current technological frontiers and future prospects of this innovative area of research.

STRONG-UR comes to revolutionise tissue reconstruction with bioprinting!

We are glad to present this new EU-funded project focusing on the repair of damaged tissue by creating advanced bioprinted tissue structures, particularly for the male urethra. Male urethral strictures affect a significant proportion of men, causing both physical complications and psychological distress, and challenging healthcare resources.

With specifically designed 3D bioprinter components and biomaterials, STRONG-UR seeks to make personalised, engineered tissue available for medical use.

It was a pleasure meeting Prof. Yuri Gogotsi at the Università degli Studi di Padova (UNIPD) / University of Padua during the "MXenes: Materials of the Future" workshop. Our Woundxene project, which utilizes these innovative materials to create antibacterial skin patches, is conducted in collaboration with Prof. Lucia Gemma Delogu and Dr. Laura Fusco, Ph.D., and the team from Beyond 3D Factory, including Prof. Massimiliano Papi and Dr. Perini Giordano, along with Dr. Francesca Sciandra from CNR SCITEC 'Giulio Natta'.

Congratulations to our researcher, Dr. Lishan Cui, who was honored along with 141 other physicians and researchers winners of Fondazione Veronesi's Scientific Research Grants 2024 through cutting-edge projects in the field of oncology and disease prevention. The Award Ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 15, at the Aula Magna of the State University of Milan.

We're proud to share our latest work with the poster "Multifunctional Scaffolds for Biomedical Applications: Crafting Versatile Solutions with Polycaprolactone Enriched by Graphene Oxide" of Dr. Palmieri and the talk of Dr. Tiberio "Regenerative Protein-Dialoguing Graphene: Personalized material for bone grafting" at the second edition of AMH Workshop 2024.

Our PRIN Project on MXenes - smart patches was recently funded by the Next Generation EU.

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome will host a Two-day Workshop on cutting-edge topics in 2D Materials and 3D Printing, organized by MARGO consortium (FLAG-ERA JTC 2019) – Sapienza Università di Roma, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, CSIC and DHAL – on 29th and 30th of November.

We are really proud and excited to announce that our group is in Hong Kong to join the 2023 Termis AP-Conference about new vista of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, set in Hong Kong Science Park from October, 16-19, 2023.

We are excited to share our team participation in the 4th EUROMBR International Training Course - on bioprocess development and medical applications of microfluids, which was held at the University of Granada from September 11 to 15, 2023.
