BEWARE-26 (Bias, Risk, Explainability and the role of Logic and Logic Programming)
8 October 2026, Perugia, Italy, co-located with AIxIA 2026
Proceedings editors, in alphabetical order: Alessandro G. Buda; Fabio Aurelio D'Asaro; Francesca A. Lisi; Giuseppe Primiero.
Use the one-column CEURART LaTeX template with information and copyright year for BEWARE-26. Keep the Libertinus font and the template layout; do not enable two columns, headers or page numbers.
Keep the BEWARE-26 event footnote and the 2026 CC BY 4.0 copyright notice on the first page. Use the exact event name given above in the paper and agreement.
Include the Declaration on Generative AI section before the references. If no GenAI tools were used, retain the no-use statement. Otherwise identify every tool and its specific use, using CEUR’s usage taxonomy, and confirm that the authors reviewed the content and accept responsibility. Keep only the statement that applies. GenAI tools must not be named as authors. Check the current policy, including its restrictions on generated scientific text and illustrative images.
Download one of the two supplied BEWARE-26 forms. Both retain CEUR’s official agreement terms and have the event and editor fields prefilled; the remaining fields can be typed into the PDF or completed on paper.
NTP: use AUTHOR-AGREEMENT-BEWARE26-NTP.pdf (see at the bottom of the page) if your contribution and accompanying material contain no copyrighted third-party material.
TP: use AUTHOR-AGREEMENT-BEWARE26-TP.pdf (see at the bottom of the page) if they contain copyrighted third-party material, such as a figure, code or dataset. Attach the relevant rights-holder permissions or agreements. A citation alone does not establish permission to reproduce material.
Complete the contribution title, all authors, corresponding author’s name, affiliation, postal address and email, and the signing location and date. The corresponding author signs on behalf of all authors; obtain their agreement before signing.
IMPORTANT: Print the completed form, sign with a pen on paper and scan the entire page to a readable PDF. Do not paste a signature image or sign on a touchscreen. The handwritten signature space has intentionally been left blank.
Email both files by 15 October 2026 to: alessandro.buda@unimi.it, cc'ing fabioaurelio.dasaro@univr.it with subject BEWARE-26 camera-ready: CMT paper <ID>
Attach the final paper PDF and the signed agreement scan. If using TP, append the permissions to the agreement PDF. Use your CMT paper ID in the filenames, for example BEWARE26-123-paper.pdf and BEWARE26-123-agreement.pdf. The editors will assign the final CEUR filenames.
In the email, give the paper ID, exact title and full author list in order. Confirm that all coauthors approve the final version and agreement. Mention any eligibility issue or third-party material needing attention.
Keep the scan reasonably small, ideally around 1 MB where legibility permits. Send signed agreements only to the editors; they are not available for download on the website.
The editors will circulate the assembled proceedings for a final check before CEUR submission. Verify your paper version, title, and author metadata promptly. CEUR generally allows only limited bibliographic and link corrections within two working days after publication, rather than replacement by an improved paper.
