These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the iOS and Android application “Bevvy”. You agree to be bound by these Terms by accessing or using the Application. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Application.
1. Data Storage
1.1 User Data: The Application stores all user data in a cloud database (Google Firebase), which may include limited personal information, such as email address, weight, gender and other required relevant data ("User Data"). The Company will take reasonable measures to protect User Data from unauthorised access or disclosure, as further described in the Privacy Policy.
1.2 Anonymization: All User Data stored in the cloud database is anonymised and only linked by email. This means that personally identifiable information such as a name will be removed to prevent the identification of individual users from the stored data.
2. Data Usage
2.1 Data Ownership: The Company does not claim ownership of User Data. Users retain ownership and responsibility for their own data.
2.2 Right to Delete Data: The Company reserves the right to delete all User Data or any portion thereof, at its sole discretion, without prior notice. The Company may exercise this right for reasons including, but not limited to, user inactivity, termination of the Application, misuse of the application, or compliance with legal obligations.
2.3 Use of Data: The Company may use anonymous and aggregated User Data for purposes reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Application, as well as for marketing and promotional activities. This may include but is not limited to, analysing usage patterns, providing personalized content, and enhancing user experience.
2.4 User’s Right to Delete Data: The User has the right to delete their account, and or data within the Application.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Accuracy of Information: Users are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when using the Application, including their email addresses. The Company shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from the submission of incorrect or outdated information.

The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the BAC calculation and shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from its use.
7.3 Professional Advice: If you require an accurate measurement of your blood alcohol content, it is recommended to use professional testing equipment or consult a qualified expert. Relying solely on the BAC calculation provided by the Application will lead to inaccurate results.

8. Customer Support and Developer Communication
8.1 Email Communication: If you reach out to our customer support team for assistance, your email address and all related conversations, including attachments, are stored within our customer service help desk provider.
8.2 Purpose of Storage: We store this information to provide efficient and effective customer support, track and resolve issues, and improve our services based on user feedback.
8.3 Data Deletion Upon Request: At your request, we will gladly delete your email and all historical conversations associated with your customer support transactions. Please note that once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.
8.4 Confidentiality: We treat all customer support communications and data with the utmost confidentiality. We will never share any customer support transactions, including email conversations and attachments, with any third party unless you explicitly provide us with consent or unless required by law or legal process.
9. Authentication Process
9.1 Google Firebase: Bevvy utilizes Google Firebase, a trusted third-party authentication service, to handle user authentication. When you create an account or log in to our Application, the authentication process is managed by Google Firebase. 9.2 Authentication Information: Bevvy does not store any authentication information, such as usernames, passwords, or access tokens, within its own systems. All authentication-related data is handled securely by Google Firebase.
9.3 Security Measures: Google Firebase implements industry-standard security measures to protect authentication data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encryption and access controls.
9.4 User Account Security: As a user, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your username and password. We recommend using strong and unique passwords and enabling additional security features provided by Google, such as two-factor authentication.
9.5 Consent to Google Firebase: By using Bevvy and engaging in the authentication process, you consent to the use of Google Firebase for authentication purposes and acknowledge that Bevvy does not store any authentication information.
By using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should immediately cease using the Application.
