I've seen it (2022-2025)

After graduating from university in Bangkok, I made the decision to return to my hometown of Udon Thani. Coming back allowed me to see the city where I grew up through the lens of family, familiar places, friendships, and the people who have grown and gradually gone their separate ways over time.

Although these places remain familiar, and the same moments seem to return year after year, I have come to realise that each passing year brings a different understanding and perspective. Whenever these familiar moments come around again, they often lead me to reflect on the past and revisit memories of things that once truly happened.

The evidence of these moments lies in the photographs I have taken and collected over the past four years, since I began this personal project. Through these images, I seek to revisit, preserve, and make sense of the memories and passage of time within the place I call home.

หลังจากที่เราเรียนจบจากกรุงเทพฯ เราตัดสินใจกลับมาอยู่บ้านที่จังหวัดอุดรธานี เรากลับมาเห็นเมืองที่เราเติบโตมาผ่านครอบครัว สถานที่ เพื่อน ผู้คนที่เติบโตและแยกย้ายผ่านไปตามกาลเวลา ถึงแม้ว่าจะเป็นสถานที่เดิมๆ ช่วงเวลาเดิมๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นเหมือนเดิมทุกปี แต่เรากลับรู้สึกว่าแต่ละปีให้ความรู้ที่แตกต่างกันออกไป และทุกครั้งที่ช่วงเวลากลับวนมาที่เดิมมันก็ทำให้เราหวนคำนึงถึงอดีตที่เคยเกิดขึ้นจริงอยู่บ่อยๆ โดยที่มีหลักฐานนั่นก็คือภาพถ่ายที่เราถ่ายเก็บสะสมมาตลอด 4 ปีที่เราตัดสินใจเริ่ม personal project ชิ้นนี้
