Meet our family
We have one son - Lee and two daughters - Jenny & Stephanie plus six grandchildren, (in order of age) Ava, Charlie, Connor, Aria, Chloe and Myla

We are originally from Bradford in West Yorkshire, and this year we will celebrate 48 years together and on July 12th we will have been married for 44 years.
Yvonne is an online seller of her own, home produced, natural sulphur cream - ideal for people with various skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and rosacea. The business is called: My Natural Skincare
Mike, who is now retired, was a camera operator/editor and video producer working in his own company called "Tapebank Digital Video Productions". He produced video for live events, concerts, theatre, news, sports, music and entertainment.
We now live in Cleckheaton having downsized from our four bedroomed house in Dewsbury in June 2021. The move was accelerated by the pandemic and helped us to stay afloat.
In 2017 we bought a property in Torrevieja, Costa Blanca, Spain. The original aim was to spend 6 months there and 6 months back in the UK as we like to spend time with our growing family. This sounds easy but since we left the European Union and became a third country, the UK lost the privilege of "The free movement of people" between EU countries. This has made planning our time in Spain a lot more of a challenge as we can only be in Spain for 90 days in a rolling 180 days. We have a video explaining this (see episode 58)
We have many informative videos on our YouTube channel about buying property, what's involved, how much things cost and our own experiences of doing this. We had a good solicitor and a very helpful estate agent to help us (Casas Eapania) which we talk about in detail on the channel.
We have a couple of e-bikes which we use to travel around the many beautiful areas around Torrevieja including La Mata, Ciudad Quesada, La Siesta, San Luis, Torretas, El Chaparral, La Florida, La Zenia, Punta Prima, Orihuela Costa and more.
