In 1951, Mr Prateep and Mr Khamron Pracharktam started an optical business in Bangkok with a partnership with Nam Sin. In their humble beginning, Prateep and Pracharktam have been eyeing to provide better prescription glasses for affordable prices to serve their clients. This dream had materialized when in 1962, the gentlemen managed to expand their optical business into a lens manufacturing company under the name Thai Glasses Industry Company Limited. This company became the first to manufacture glass lens in Thailand. Later on, they also become the first to introduce the first plastic lens in the country. All such efforts are dedicated to providing the best eyewear for the people of different statuses in life. They later on rebrand themselves into Numsilp Thai. Just a few years after Thai Glasses Industry Company Ltd was established, it was renamed as the first eyewear chain store in Thailand with the new brand name, Bettervision. This company which had a very long history in the market remained stable in the ever changing economy. It was in 1980 that Bettervision becomes a stable eyewear company in Thailand. The ability of the brand to capture the changing interest and match the lifestyle of the people in every generation is the key to its success. It also expanded its services and products into various parts of the world which become a massive success. Today, we know Bettervision as a manufacturer of designer eyewear in Singapore that provides quality branded sunglasses, prescription glasses, corrective lenses, and contact lenses online for affordable prices.

Bettervision started out as an optical company in Thailand. We are the first to introduced and manufacture both glass lenses and plastic lenses in the country. With that being said, Bettervision has been a forerunner of quality lenses for various types of eyewear. We are also a leading brand of prescription glasses and sunglasses in Singapore.
