By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We collect the following types of information:
A. Information You Provide Directly

Usage data: how you interact with the App (e.g., lessons completed, practice streaks, time spent on features, progress in piano lessons).
Log data: crash reports, error logs, and performance data to help us improve stability.
App usage analytics (anonymous) to understand popular features and improve user experience.
C. Information from Third-Party Services
If you sign in with Google or other authentication providers, we may receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) from those services.
We may use third-party analytics and crash reporting tools (such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) that collect limited anonymous data.
Important: We do not collect sensitive personal data such as location (except coarse location for analytics if needed), health data, financial information, or biometric data. We do not request unnecessary permissions.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the core functionality of the App (piano lessons, streak tracking, habit reminders, progress dashboard).
To personalize your learning experience and show relevant progress.
To send optional push notifications or reminders for daily practice (you can disable this anytime in settings).
To improve the App through analytics, bug fixing, and feature development.
To respond to your support requests and feedback.
To comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.
We may share your information only in the following limited cases:
With trusted service providers (data processors) who help us operate the App, such as Firebase (Google), cloud hosting providers, or analytics tools. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
When required by law, court order, or government request.
To protect the rights, property, or safety of DisciPiano, our users, or the public (in cases of fraud or abuse).
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction (we will notify you if required by law).
Your practice progress and streak data are primarily stored locally on your device. Optional cloud backup (if you enable it) uses secure Firebase services.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures (encryption in transit, access controls, regular security reviews) to protect your information.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention: We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. You can delete your account and associated data through the App settings or by contacting us.
