Better Price Alert (“the extension”) helps users track price drops on Amazon purchases. The extension processes data locally in the browser and does not transmit data to external servers.

The extension accesses Amazon order history and product pages to retrieve:
- Order details (order date, item title, order total)
- Price paid and current price
- Product identifiers (ASINs)
- Optional product images (if present on the page)
3) How We Use Data
Data is used only to compare current prices against past purchase prices and to show results and notifications in the extension (no data is shared).
4) Storage
The extension stores:
- User preferences (check interval, thresholds, notification settings)
- Suppression lists (ignored/snoozed items, stored as hashed identifiers)
All data is stored locally in the browser and is not sent to any external server.
5) Sharing and Selling
We do not sell or share user data with third parties.
