Privacy Policy for BetterContacts

1. Core Functionality (Contacts) BetterContacts requires access to your device's contact list to function. This data remains on your device unless you use the AI features described below.

2. AI Features & Third-Party Sharing (OpenAI) If you provide an OpenAI API key to use voice-to-text or the chatbot, the app transmits the following data securely to OpenAI:

• Contacts: To allow the AI to read, create, or modify your contacts via natural language.

• Audio Files: Your voice recordings for transcription.

• Text Messages: Your chat inputs.

We do not intercept, collect, or store this data on our own servers. It is processed directly via your API key and governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

3. Accounts and Data Retention BetterContacts does not require user accounts. Because we do not store your data, we have no data to delete. Data sent to OpenAI is managed exclusively through your personal OpenAI account.

4. Security All data transmitted between the app and OpenAI is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS protocols.
